  DISTRICT GOALS 2009-10 :

 

  I SUSTAINABLE MEMBERSHIP GROWTH
  • Growth of 600 New Members to 30 June 2009 tally by 31st March 2010.
  • Growth of 50 New Women Members to 30 June 2009 tally by 31st March 2010.
  • Formation of 6 New Clubs in NEW IDENTIFIED AREAS.
  • To achieve a minimum net gain of 1 member in each club.
  • To encourage clubs with <20 members to reach membership of minimum 20.
  • To identify TRF Alumni, former Rotaractors and former Rotarians for membership.
  • Retention to be improved to 90% to 30th June 2009 status.
  • To arrange three Seminars / Intercity Meets for Membership Development in District.
  • Recognition of Rotarian, who sponsors new member, with special pin at the time of Official Club Visit.
  II STRENGTHENING CLUB ADMINISTRATION
  • Achieve 60% Attendance in weekly meetings of at least 70% of Clubs with good programme planning.
  • Every Club will be encouraged to establish mentor program to train individual Rotarians.
  • Zonal Meets in each Zone wherein all Rotary related matters be discussed.
  • In order to increase members of Super Social Security of our District each club to motivate at least 40% of their membership to become member of this Scheme.
  • To strengthen the Rotary image in public.
  • To have five Inter District Youth Exchange programmes.
  • To have five Inter District Family Exchange programmes.s
  • To have one International Rotary Family Exchange programme.
  • Participation in RI President Citation programme by all clubs.
  • Participation in Four Avenues of Service Citation by all clubs.
  • Verification of last year’s Audited accounts at the time of OCV.
  • Modification of Club Constitution and / or by laws for incorporating New Leadership Plan.
  III IMPLEMENT SUCCESSFUL SERVICE PROJECTS
  • Effective programs to reduce child mortality rate.
  • Effective programs for fetter sanitation and clean drinking water in slum areas.
  • Participation of all clubs in NID/SNID by holding responsibility of one particular booth.
  • Participation of all clubs in NID/SNID program in rural areas.
  • Adoption of 100 schools by clubs.
  • 100 programs on Literacy by clubs.
  • To encourage Clubs to start permanent Vaccination Center and promote regular Immunization.
  • To encourage health Awareness & Educational Service Projects.
  • Encourage Community Health Care and Rural Health Care Programs.
  • To encourage Rotary Week Celebration during 21 to 27 January, 2010 to encourage RI presidential Task Programme of Child Development Literacy, Health, Water Management and Family of Rotary.
  • To plan promotion of 4-Way Test & Declaration of Rotarians in Business and Profession in every public programme.
  • To arrange rural water harvesting seminars to provide latest know-how on the subject.
  • To motivate Clubs and Rotarians to register 50 Rotary Volunteers of different specialties during the year.
  • To encourage clubs to organize Road Safety Programmes during Road Safety Week.
  • To encourage all Clubs to participate in District Common Project.
  • To strengthen Rotaract activities by the Clubs & to add 25 New Rotaract clubs in District.
  • To strengthen Interact activities by the Clubs & to add 30 New Interact clubs in District.
  • To strengthen RCC activities by the Clubs & to add 50 New RCC clubs in District.
  • To plan three RYLA during the year.
  • Collection of 6500 units of Blood.
  • Avoidable Blindness camps in Rural Areas – 100 camps.
  • Surgeries for Polio & Leprosy patients – 100 surgeries.
  • Programs on AIDS Awareness – 150 camps.
  • Thalassemia detection and awareness camps – 100 camps.
  • Programs to make the children free from Drug and Tobacco addiction – 25 camps.
  • Programs on development of Youth Power – 25 camps.
  • Symposium on New Generation and Community Responsibility – 20 Programmes.
  • Competitive programs for youth in Rural Area – 25 camps.
  • Counseling programs for unemployed youth for career development and self employment opportunities – 25 camps.
  • To recognize 50 entrepreneurs for their outstanding contribution to the community.
  • To recognize 260 public servants who are community friendly and have increased the dignity of his/her vocation.
  • To organize Eye check-up camps in 500 Schools.
  IV SUPPORTING THE ROTARY FOUNDATION
  • To have all TRF programmes more transparent.
  • To motivate every Rotarian of District to contribute at least Rs. 500/- for District Rotary Foundation Fund.
  • To contribute USD 2 Lacs to TRF.
  • To encourage 50 Rotarians to contribute as benefactors for Permanent Fund.
  • To identify at least two Rotary World Peace Scholars to represent Rid 3050 at world competition.
  • To upgrade District TRF Alumni list, publish District TRF Directory and proper utilization of Alumni.
  • To encourage 75 Clubs to have Matching Grant Projects.
  • To encourage all Clubs to participates in final Push for Polio Eradication.
  • To arrange 3 TRF Seminars and 3 Polio Plus Seminars during the year in different regions of District in addition to 50 Zonal meets wherein TRF matter shall also be discussed.
  • To have two outgoing and two incoming GSE programs planned with Dist. 7210 & 6490 and all the clubs will be invited to participate in sponsoring Leader / member and hosting the visiting team.
  V DEVELOPING LEADERS BEYOND THE CLUB LEVEL
  • To achieve 100% participation of club office bearers at AGTS/PETS/Assembly.
  • To promote participation of at least 90% of the clubs at all district events.
  • To promote participation of President, Secretary and Committee Chairman at different seminars.
  • To achieve registration of minimum 1500 Rotarians at Discon 2010 – SWAPNA SHAKTI at Jaipur.
  • To have 25 registrations in International Convention 2010 at Birmingham (UK).
  • To promote Zonal meetings in each zone.
  • To form Speakers Bank at Zonal Level.
