Kota is located in the southern part of the state of Rajasthan, in the north western part of India. It is located on the eastern bank of Chambal River and is drained by its tributaries. Apart from the several monuments that reflect the erstwhile glory of the town, Kota is also known for its palaces and gardens. Now Kota is taking up shape as India's biggest education city center. The Rotary Club of Kota is one of the pioneers in India of the rotary movement, devoted to the ideal of Fellowship through service. Rotary Club Kota Founded on 20-Feb-1959. The Club meets every Wednesday at 8.30 PM at the Rotary Binani Sabhagar. The first president of the club was Rtn. R.N. chowdhary . The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster. Today rotary club kota have more than 250 members.
